gotta love mom!Today I managed to persuade my mom to drive out to the beach with me to take some photos! The photos will be sold at Land's Florist & Gifts in Cary, NC next month. I really had to twist her arm to get her to come along...being that the beach is her most favorite place to be, whether we are in North Carolina or anywhere else in the world. : )
The drive down was filled with great conversation and music from my ipod. I introduced mom to Amy Winehouse for the first time, and she decided she needed some of that on her ipod too! It was a beautiful day and we were delighted to see the signs of spring along the way down hwy 87. We enjoyed walking the beach at Wrightsville and later scoped out a little crafts fair in Wilmington. Fish and chips on the dock at Elijah's was a must to finish off the day.
We can't wait to do it again soon!
